Two nice websites

At http://wordcount.org/ there is a nice visualization of a word count database

Now I know why some statisticians are reluctant to use graphics:

There is another nice site at: http://www.tenbyten.org/

You might also like these two visualizations by Jonathan Keller that render graphics based on word count. This one renders the Word count and connections to other words based on proximity.

And I beleive the procedure was similar to get these images out, although I beleive the connections were downplayed and the frequency of use was played up.

I caught the print outs Jonathan made at this exhibition and the page has some more documentation on the projects.
